Kencor Elevator Systems has been a leader in safety and education for the elevator industry for decades. Kencor, Inc.’s staff serves on several industry-related safety committees throughout the region. Our field employees attend weekly safety meetings and are continuously audited in the field by OSHA certified field supervisors. Kencor Elevator Systems has partnered with OSHA and the Associated Builders and Contractors Southeast Pennsylvania Chapter through their strategic partnership ensuring OSHA compliance at all times.
CET® Education Program
Since 2005, Kencor Elevator Systems has been at the forefront of working with the National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC) to develop the CET® Education Program. The CET® Education Program is the nationally recognized training program included in the NAEC’s National Guidelines for Apprenticeship Standards (C2011-03) that was approved by the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship.
In 2011, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the only personnel certification accreditation body in the United States, accredited the CET® Education Program. Learn More about the program.
Safety Through Education
The CET® Education Program promotes safety and standards among its participating companies. All Kencor Elevator Systems field technicians are Certified Elevator Technicians, or CETs. Certification is renewable annually upon completion of a minimum of ten hours of continuing education in the calendar year by a NAEC provider.
